As we move towards the winter, finding ways to stoke the inner fire helps sustain us through the darker colder months. Mantras are tools that soften the heart and awaken us energetically.

Chanting enables us to let go of repetitive thinking, release stuck emotional patterns, and become clear and still in the present moment. The quiet voice of the heart is then empowered to express itself in ever more joyful, creative and life enhancing ways.
This is a much-loved course that has been running at the Ashram for a number of years, with many participants returning regularly. As students engage in the practice of mantra, it creates space in which they can more easily perceive the habitual patterns of the personality, and potentially the deeper vistas that lie beyond. Past students experienced this course as nourishing for both the mind and heart.
Swami GyanDharma has been chanting for 40 years. He makes seemingly difficult practices accessible to all. He is a clear reminder of the fruits of spiritual practice. Being in his transformative and life-affirming presence will be a central feature of this retreat.
