A weekend retreat exploring yoga and creativity under the skillful guidance of Reva, who is both an Ashram teacher and an experienced art therapist.
Our innate creativity naturally opens through skillful yoga practice. In this weekend retreat we will be using different creative modalities to express and explore the theme of the abundance, growth and vitality of the summer season. Spending time alone, as well as sharing as a group, we will have an opportunity to engage deeply in our creative process with objects from nature and traditional art materials. The emphasis will be on the creative process itself rather than artistic skill or experience. We will also share intuitive dance and reflective journaling.
This weekend retreat will also include yoga classes, morning chanting and meditation, karma yoga, personal time for reflection, and the practice of mouna (silence).
Awakening our natural spirit of creativity helps reconnect us to our authentic selves, and our innate freedom, playfulness and aliveness.
Open to all levels of yoga experience.
