Pranayama for Daily Life and Meditation

Prana is the life force, or energy, behind all existence. It is the manifest expression of Consciousness. Prana is contained within the food we eat, the water we drink and the air we breath, and is present in every cell of our being. Pranayama is the expansion of prana within us. Through various practices we can enhance the levels of prana within us, thereby living life more effectively and joyfully, and deepening our yoga and spiritual practices also.

Tutor(s): Tulsi

The practices of pranayama help us to find balance in our daily life, and give the tools to both calm and invigorate us as needed, helping to overcome our usual limitations. The practices bring about change and quieten the mind, leading to a deeper connection with the Self. This weekend online course will introduce a wide range of pranayama practices which can be used at different times to enhance our sense of well being, create spaciousness and clarity in the mind, and as preparation for deeper meditation experiences. The weekend will also include yoga nidra, asana and meditation.
