We all experience anxiety to some degree because it is part of our survival mechanism. However, recent research has indicated that clinical anxiety and sleeping disorders have been steadily increasing, diminishing the quality of our life and contributing to the development of many health issues.

Yoga has many effective tools for changing our anxious and fearful perceptions into harmonious and creative responses.
Being a doctor and a yoga teacher, Dr Hania Katarina has the depth of experience in both medical science and yoga to help her patients and students to reduce anxiety and to improve their health.
In this course she would like to share her knowledge and to give you the tools which will help you to sleep better, reduce anxiety, and to thereby live a more healthy and joyful life.
This course is a continuation of the much appreciated and well-attended yoga therapy and stress management programmes that have given over the last few years in the ashram. Dr Hania Katarina will introduce a wide range of yogic techniques. The emphasis will be on hatha yoga, breathing techniques, mantras and meditation.
Meditations and satsang (Question and Answers) will be given by Swami Nishchalananda.
