One of the fundamental purposes of the practices of Yoga is to open us up to the possibility of Insight – the revealing of the hitherto unknown depths of our very being.
The practices of the Vigyana Bhairava Tantra are elegant and eminently practical techniques that lead us to that possibility.
Tutor(s): Swami SatyaDaya, assisted by Tulsi & Swami Krishnaprem
The word Vigyana itself means ‘insight’ and, in this context, Bhairava means ‘underlying Reality’.
Though written in Kashmir over 1000 years ago, it’s teachings and practices can be applied seamlessly to life in the modern world.
These techniques are designed to lead us effortlessly into meditation. They can be practised throughout the day so that our life is transformed into an opening to the One. Many of the practices use everyday situations and experiences that we can utilise so that our daily life becomes our practice, and our life becomes an exciting, inspiring and exhilarating voyage of both inner and outer discovery.
This course is suitable for more experienced practitioners. The emphasis of the course will be on the practice of meditation however we will also share hatha yoga, chanting, yoga nidra and kirtan daily.
